Wireplay news: Offclassing?

Sooo, MF and I have been contemplating switching things up a bit for wireplay! New league, it'll kind of be in the summer, it seems like a good time for people to try something new! There are three things I want to ask in this post!

1. What do you think about offclassing? Trying something new? Obviously, if you play several classes regularly as a sub this is less applicable, but for people who stick to one class, it could be a chance to try something new and fun. The handy and super awesome poll can help figuring this out!

2. If we do offclassing, would you want to be assigned to a new class or switch it up during the league? And for the mains, would you mind sitting out a few matches so subs who haven't been able to play a lot can play some matches?

3. What classes are you interested in playing? I'll start:

I wouldn't mind staying medic, or playing heavy or even... scout or pyro? But that's kind of scary. ;-;

You should play solly! You did fine on the vanilla haven today, almost rocket jumping and stuff.

Anyway!
1: Offclassin's a good job, mayt. It's challengin' work, out of your usual area of duty... I guarantee we won't go hungry - as we don't get paid anyway.
2: Would like being assigned to being a crazed gunman or an assassin or a spastic little gremlin. Swapping up during the league, even every week works too. And can sit out, as long as we get some scrim or lobby action so I won't forget how to start up tf2.
3: I think I listed them already. Derp.

Edit: I don't really care that much. And I don't really care about which class I have to play either, as long as it isn't sniper/engi. I prefer scout or pyro I guess, or just sit out.

However, since we will be in div 5, don't concider me offclassing serious. We can't even handle div 5 as our mains that well...

1: Well, it was my idea after all...so yes ;3.

2: Eh, I would prefer getting assigned a new class once, then sticking to that. Rotating seems a bit..too much, you can't really get the hang of a new class if you have to change it up every week =\.

3: My first choice would be Spy, but I'd be fine with Soldier/Demo/Heavy as well...hell, I'd even scout if necessary. And yea, I already said this before, but I'm totally fine with sitting out a bit more, I'd like to have Meh take my spot whenever he can and wants to ^^.

Sure, could be fun... though demo is like my second fav class... loool

I'd prefer to play one class, but if stuff turns out badly I guess we could do more switching.

So I guess pyro or heavy? I'm guessing we have 10+ peeps that want to play medic.

Aint bad idea, i'm actually up for trying to play as engi? O.o or even sniper if necessarily!

I would prefer Pyro or Demo, but again, can only play every other week so not sure how much i'll be playing in general

Offclassing sounds like fun
I would like to try out Scout, Sniper or Pybro if possible.

I'm against switching classes between matches. We should focus on one class at the time.
At who's going to play engi: you have to learn all the sentry/mini sentry spots on each map and how long it takes to build certain stuff (priorities). So I think it's best if you stick to engi in the league then.

Clearly you should all try heavy, it's a piss easy job. You attach the medic attachment to your back causing +50 hp regeneration every second, once completed you then run into any situation. You don't need no Uber! Stickies? Run into them! Level 3 Sentries? Run into them! Whole other team? Nom Sandvich in front of them to show just how badass you are! And don't rage after it seems everything has just gained the ability to kick your ass :3 I swear even an smg sniper has some crazy ass skills to kill you in highlander!

Meanwhile, I may leave my slot open to subs, so if Bleu or Meh for example wanted to play one day, they can take over my slot since we're off classing it means they don't have to be hoovy everybody happy!

I think mine are already clear, but:

1. Heavy
2. Med
3. Scout
4. Pyro

So, I think the roster's gonna look something like this (the way I think almost everyone can offclass and still function pretty well ;D):

Scout: Aziel - Az wanted to stick to scout, then I'll respect that.
Soldier: ... - Ling wanted to be put to subs for this wireplay season since he's rather busy, respect that as well. We might be able to get Leif or Lucky to be main this season?
Pyro: Brent - You know the class very well, probably just as good as I do.
Demo: Meh/me - Meh wants to be main demo, but ofc he can only play every other week so I'll gladly take Demo if he's not around and it's easier to find a sub spy then a sub demo.
Heavy: ....okay, fine, Dok can be pootisman.
Engi: Pinkie? If he's up for some gear being moved up .
Medic: Fred - Obvious reasons, pro baller med ;3.
Sniper: BG - BG wanted the pewpewheadshootings and he's pretty darn good at it as well.
Spy: Me - I'd like to give spying a try, if we're in need of a demo and it's easier to find a spy sub I'll play demo.

Vel didn't feel confident enough in any other class then heavy, so he requested a sub spot as well.

Lemme know what you think?
Also if we're getting dicked on too hard the first match we can always go back to our regular roster, just seems fun to try sometime ;3.
