Why is it only the sniper items look somewhat usefull? ;_;

I hope the pyro gets some cool weapons which change gameplay for him a bit and are viable sidegrades to the flaregun/shotgun and axtinguisher/homewrecker.

IDK, even the sniper set seems really useless, you get potentially three noscope crits with a rifle with the SMG and the rifle seems really useless... The new RL could be awesome for kritzflashing tho :p

Too bad you can only have 3 rockets loaded for it to work, and those rockets will be pretty inaccurate. And hell, if it loads as fast as the cow mangler, you may as well try to goomba stomp the enemy with the manthreads.

And you can't hold down mouse 1 to just spam rockets one by one. you have to actually time when you need to press mouse 1 (The main problem with this is some rocket jumps, where the normal timing makes you able to jump multiple times without losing your speed)

That's why I said kritzflashing. Except for that one burst, you're completely useless your whole life. Woo new wapons!

The only good thing pyros got was the 10% extra damage on the flamethrowers. Pretty dissapointing.

You mean the 10% extra damage on the regular flamer, since the backburner and degreaser both got -10% damage, so they essentially stayed the same. I quite like that, also like messing around with the Scorch Shot. Stand on the sniper deck @ Doomsday at the far back, shoot people from the lift as it's going up. 10 bonus points if you get the guy with the intel :3.

I'd dare say the scorch shot is just gimmicky, would never be better than any of the other choices except perhaps a map like doomsday.

Indeed. It's fun to make it a minigame of shooting people off the map with it...other then that, I'll take my regular flares .
